FreeSpeech.site welcomes all views. Even those considered abhorrent to both the left, and the right. We believe people should be able to post their thoughts and not be censored or persecuted by an angry mob. This, of course, is not the case. Big tech constantly censors content and even removes apps from the marketplace for wrong think. We have seen many people’s lives ruined by even the most innocuous of statements that aren’t woke.
The goal of the site is to have a place for people to speak truly freely. To post uncensored ideas. Then, to have only other contributors on the site comment on posts. This is so that everything, blog posts and comments, will be from minds who think, with thoughts spoken freely and worthy of consideration. Nobody holds back for fear of losing a job or being ruined by the mob. Ever.
So who should join?
This is probably obvious, but you should be able to write a reasonable blog post. We don’t mean perfect, but clear and expressing your views so that the average reader can understand them.
What do I have to do to maintain my account?
You should be contributing at least one article a month, (preferable a lot more, there is plenty to say!) and should be giving your opinion on other’s work much more than that.
Is this free?
Yes, for now. For 2021, anyone who qualifies can join the site and use it for free. They will also be grandfathered in so they never have to pay. It’s a good idea to get in on the ground floor now. At some point, some charge (probably crypto only, probably once a year), will be required. Servers aren’t free, and it adds up.
How protected are the blogger’s identities?
First, we would recommend a pseudonym, or pen-name, and an email address from a provider like ProtonMail, just in case. Beyond that, the servers and its database (along with it’s backups) are in a very secure place and are not shared with any other website. Could it ever be hacked? Sure. Anything can be. But it is locked down pretty darn good. In addition, if you don’t use your real name or email, then there is nothing for anyone to get that could cause any problems.
